Position Overview

Peraton is looking for a skilled Project Manager to become a vital part of our USCYBERCOM team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and analyze strategies, doctrines, policies, directives, and instructions from higher command to ensure alignment and compliance in planning initiatives.
  • Formulate plans and directives utilizing operational art and design principles, applying the Joint Planning Process (JPP) to meet established milestones and deliverables.
  • Contribute to briefings, facilitate the transition from concepts to execution, and aid in the coordination of joint operational planning for training, exercises, and contingency operations.
  • Integrate cyberspace capabilities into deliberate and contingency operations as well as crisis action planning.
  • Assist in the creation of Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), Concepts of Operations (CONOPs), and Courses of Action (COAs) relevant to Offensive Cyber Operations (OCO), Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), and the protection of the DOD Information Network (DODIN).
  • Identify and address shortfalls, prioritize requirements, and adapt planning efforts to the evolving cyberspace landscape.
  • Support the development of exercise scenarios and operational plans to fulfill USCYBERCOM training objectives.
  • Conduct research on current and emerging threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR).
  • Engage in Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and Operational Planning Groups/Teams (OPG/OPTs).
Qualifications:

Essential:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Project Management, Business Management, Economics, Political Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Government Contracting, Finance/Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Joint Planning Process.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong executive-level communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Cyber Mission and understanding of policy and operational implications in cyberspace.
  • U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Strategic Planning.
  • Background in Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) planning.
  • Proven leadership in Operational Planning Teams (OPT).
  • Ability to lead and actively participate in JPGs and OPG/OPT, integrating cyber capabilities into planning efforts.
  • Experience coordinating cyberspace operations planning activities.
  • Expertise in planning methodologies and applications across military operations.
  • Capability to independently manage the development of cyberspace operations plans and orders.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and leadership in all phases of JPP and APEX activities.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
