  • Review and analyze technical drawings to ensure proper integration with robotic applications.

  • Download and implement Offline Programming (OLP) programs.
  • Set up Binding Tables and I/O configurations.
  • Establish Robot D-Net and I/O communication protocols.
  • Teach robots various path programs including welding, material handling, and maintenance tasks.
  • Configure signals between robots and PLC interfaces.
  • Debug programs at reduced speeds to verify signal integrity with PLCs.
  • Install hard stops and set software limits accordingly.
  • Collaborate with PLC programmers to troubleshoot auto-repeat functions.
  • Assist maintenance teams in resolving robotic system issues.
  • Conduct metal runs and verify weld spot accuracy.
  • Document all modifications to robot programs and end-effector sequences.
  • Support FIS, technical reviews, and operational cycle runs.
  • Participate in customer acceptance testing.
  • Maintain records of replaced robotic equipment.
  • Backup robot programs and parameters securely.
  • Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, identifying potential concerns.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and uphold quality standards.
  • Represent the company during field installations.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation to the Robot Leader post-installation.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Work collaboratively with the PLC debugging team.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate proficiency in the essential duties outlined above. The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical institution, along with two years of relevant experience or training.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and financial reports.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting information effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to apply logical reasoning to solve problems in standardized situations.

Certifications:

MIOSHA Training is required for this role.
