About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Waste Connections. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems on MVR equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a manufacturing plant or similar environment with a focus on conveyor systems.
  • Ability to learn and operate baling machines.
  • Knowledge of Light Diesel equipment is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
