Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of traveling healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to labor and delivery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and preferences
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and fetal heart rate
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
