Job Description:

PHARMACIST IN CHARGE (PIC)

Moab Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist In Charge to join our team in our new Portal Pharmacy. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee pharmacy operations, including record keeping, dispensing, and labeling of medications
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Work closely with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to implement and update policies and procedures in response to changing regulations
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and communicate changes in regulations to the team
  • Implement corrective actions to address identified compliance issues
  • Conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with pharmacy standards and regulations
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah
  • Licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah
  • Excellent communication, human relation, and computer skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work both independently, and as part of a team
