About the Role

Aureon Consulting is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a long-term contract role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes through effective requirement definition, user testing, and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with IT to define and document requirements, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
  • Facilitate activities and workshops to elicit requirements, including BRD/User Stories, Business process flow diagrams, and UAT testing.
  • Develop and maintain requirements, ensuring seamless integration with project timelines.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to define UAT testing activities and timelines, ensuring thorough testing of all approved requirements.
  • Communicate UAT test metrics daily to the project team, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in an Agile software development team, preferably in the Financial Services industry.
  • Strong understanding of SAFe Agile and waterfall methodologies, with experience in leading requirements sessions and documenting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills, with the ability to facilitate remote meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience in the Broker-Dealer industry, with a strong understanding of RIA/Broker Dealer space requirements.
  • Ability to demonstrate story mapping and user story writing sessions to create a product backlog.
  • Strong management and communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
