Pet Stylist

About the Role:

Vetcelerator is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist to join our team. As a key member of our animal care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional grooming services to our furry clients.

Responsibilities:

• Bathe, brush, and dry animals of various breeds
• Clip nails
• Assess skin for any abnormalities
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Effectively communicate with pet owners about the animal's grooming style, any skin concerns, or other related issues.
• Be able to answer pet owner's questions or concerns.
• Maintain impeccable records of the animal's grooming history.

Requirements:

• 1+ year(s) of proven experience as a groomer.
• Experience grooming both cats and dogs is preferred.
• You must provide and maintain clippers and scissors.
• Ability to calmly handle animals of all sizes and temperaments.
• Knowledge of safe and humane handling of animals.
• Extensive knowledge of breeds and their grooming requirements.
• Excellent customer service & communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be flexible to change.
