About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Fox Factory. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our ride dynamics products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and general maintenance duties.
  • Use electrical meters to check voltage and ohms, and wire in single-phase motors, receptacles, and sensors.
  • Conduct moderate welding and soldering using TIG, MIG, and stick weld.
  • Identify and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and nitrogen issues.
  • Drill and tap holes as required, and make hydraulic hoses to correct dimensions.
  • Build simple pneumatic, hydraulic, and nitrogen systems.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting skills on all types of production equipment.
  • Plumb and pipe in water, pneumatic, oil, and nitrogen lines.
  • Operate a manual mill and lathe with basic skills, and precisely operate a drill press, horizontal and vertical band saw, buffers, and sanders.
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are followed at all times.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance.
  • Must have a very broad background in hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Ability to use all types of gauges, including pressure, calipers, and depth gauges.
  • Familiarity with PLC-based controller/interface machinery.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines and work independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
  • Must be a proficient FOX Level 1 Maintenance Technician.
