Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidates will be responsible for:

  • Delivering electrical engineering solutions for NAVFAC installations.
  • Creating and assessing electrical designs, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Ensuring adherence to relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.

This role is contingent upon contract award, and multiple hires may be made from this job listing.

Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is between $118,000 and $141,000.

Work Environment:
The work environment may include moderate noise levels typical of a business office setting, with potential exposure to loud noises in specific situations.

Physical Requirements:
Employees must be able to sit, stand, talk, and hear, with frequent use of hands and fingers for computer operation. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.

Travel Requirements:
Occasional travel may be required, estimated at 11-20%.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
  • Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and familiarity with electrical codes (e.g., NEC, UFC).
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD and ETAP.
  • Strong communication skills and client-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred candidates will have:

  • An active Secret Clearance.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in designing and evaluating electrical systems for government or military facilities.
