AvaMed Workforce is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in a part-time capacity at a correctional facility in Vacaville, CA.

Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist with AvaMed Workforce, you will provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in a correctional setting. Your duties will include performing evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing physical therapy services to patients as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients in accordance with CDCR policies and procedures.
  • Provide physical therapy services to patients on an as-needed basis, including evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.
  • Communicate with patients, medical personnel, and other stakeholders to ensure effective care and coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Be available for telephone consultation while on duty at the facility.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
  • Experience working in a correctional setting or with similar patient populations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay and Benefits:

AvaMed Workforce offers a competitive hourly rate of $80/hour for this part-time position. Weekly pay is provided via direct deposit.
