Job Summary
THIS POSITION IS ONLY FOR CURRENTLY ENROLLED CLAYTON STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS WHO QUALIFY FOR FEDERAL WORK STUDY.
This role involves conducting campus tours, managing recruitment supplies and inventory, and supporting on-campus recruitment initiatives. Key responsibilities include:- Delivering exceptional customer service to all visitors by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Greeting and assisting guests with inquiries, showcasing knowledge of the university's programs and admissions criteria.
- Representing Clayton State University positively through appropriate attire and grooming.
- Demonstrating strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Conducting walking tours of the campus and operating golf carts for tours as needed.
- Handling inbound calls, directing them appropriately, and making outbound calls to prospective visitors.
- Providing relevant literature and guiding guests to their destinations.
- Maintaining the office lobby area and assisting recruiters with event preparations.
- Performing general administrative tasks such as data entry, room reservations, and correspondence management.
- Contributing to team efforts and sharing ideas for improvement.
- Occasionally moving materials weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Completing other assigned duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a current Clayton State University student.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study is required.
- A minimum GPA of 2.5 must be maintained.
- Good academic and judicial standing with the university is essential.
- Availability to work scheduled hours.
- One year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Experience with data entry and excellent communication skills are necessary.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills are essential.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are required.
- Integrity and honesty in all interactions.
