Salary Information
This fee-for-service position offers a competitive hourly rate for experienced clinicians providing outpatient therapy services to individuals participating in the Bay Cove Behavioral Health and Wellness Center program on Cape Cod.
Job Description
The Outpatient Therapist will provide counseling and psychotherapy services to clients, including assessments, treatment planning, case documentation, discharge planning, and coordination of care with other healthcare providers and service organizations as needed. This role contributes to our mission by taking a recovery-oriented approach to addressing the needs of community members most impacted by social determinants of health.
Key Responsibilities
* Screen, evaluate, and treat individuals participating in the Bay Cove Behavioral Health and Wellness Center program using various therapeutic modalities, including individual, group, couples, and family therapy.* Maintain up-to-date clinical records of clients in a timely manner, adhering to policies and procedures set by Bay Cove and regulatory standards.* Coordinate treatment with other involved parties, such as psychiatric and medical providers, other service organizations, and significant client supports.* Participate in the multidisciplinary care team and support patients in improving their well-being by facilitating empowerment and engagement in their care.* Stay current with professional licensure and competency requirements by attending educational and professional activities relevant to the population served and clinical work conducted.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field required.* LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent behavioral health licensure preferred.* At least two years of experience providing services to individuals with mental health challenges.* Strong understanding of clinical and recovery principles.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational ability, attention to detail, and time management skills.* Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply; pay differential offered for fluency in essential languages.
