Heavy Equipment Operator

Description: We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Strong Excavation. As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy construction equipment such as Dozers, Loaders, Front-End Loaders, Bobcats, Backhoes, and Scrapers. Your primary goal will be to excavate, move, and grade earth with precision and accuracy.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must have a minimum of four years' experience operating heavy equipment. You should be able to follow directions and read/understand plans, set a laser, and read elevations. Additionally, you must be able to identify machines and their capabilities, perform pre-trip inspections, check motor oil & steering fluid, grease heavy equipment, jump-start batteries, and adjust slack adjusters. A reliable vehicle for transportation and the ability to travel are also essential.
Company Overview: At Strong Excavation, we strive to provide exceptional services to our clients by coordinating manpower, scheduling projects, and collaborating with subcontractors. Our team members must understand the construction process, survey layouts, and plan interpretations. If you have knowledge of RFI (Request for Information) and change orders, it would be an added advantage.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year.
