Job Description
The Progressive Care Unit Clinical Nurse Coordinator at Medical City Dallas plays a crucial role in coordinating patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between departments, and driving improved patient outcomes.
This position requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes, ensuring smooth transitions and efficient care delivery.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and leadership to support improved outcomes and service.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling and coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact licensure.
- BSN required.
- A minimum of one year experience as an RN in a high acuity PCU or critical care unit.
