About the Opportunity

University Hospitals is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physicist I to join our Department of Radiation Oncology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of clinical, research, and educational programs in partnership with our leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the commissioning, quality assurance, and direct patient care in radiation oncology
  • Collaborate with a team of physicists and dosimetrists to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery
  • Teach didactic courses for physician residents and mentor physics residents, dosimetry students, and guide trainees
  • Contribute to the development of research programs and participate in clinical trials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Medical Physics or related field
  • ABR Board eligibility; Part I required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with advanced radiotherapy techniques, MR-linac, proton therapy, brachytherapy, or Gamma Knife is preferred
