Lab Technician

The Lab Technician position at Western States CAT is a critical role that requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the processing of fluid samples, interpreting results, and communicating with customers and product support personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with the processing of fluid samples, including oil and coolants
- Interpret and communicate results to customers and product support personnel
- Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to all applicable safety policies and procedures
- Perform maintenance on lab equipment as necessary
- Ensure the lab is always clean and organized
- Working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of lab test equipment preferred
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others
- Consistent attendance and ability to communicate in English
- One year similar lab experience
- Knowledge of heavy equipment components
- Working analytical and technical knowledge
- Some exposure to fumes
- Ability to handle repetitive motion
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk, sit, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, lean, and twist
