Key Responsibilities:


• Adheres to the relevant OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.

• In alignment with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, delivers nursing care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for designated patients.

• Addresses the increasingly intricate psychological, emotional, cultural, and social requirements of patients and their families, in accordance with their level of practice.

• Administers medications and treatments following established protocols; monitors for side effects and the effectiveness of prescribed treatments.

• Maintains accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.

• Evaluates learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources.

Qualifications:

A. Education/Skills

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.

B. Experience

  • 1 year of experience in the relevant nursing specialty is preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

  • BLS certification is required.
  • RN License in the state of employment or compact is required.
