Position Summary:
We seek compassionate, reliable, and friendly individuals eager to assist others in achieving their best lives. In this role, you will support residents in their daily activities, including morning routines, engaging in recreational activities, meal preparation, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Additional responsibilities include managing paperwork, responding to nighttime needs, and administering medication. Opportunities are available across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Arrive punctually and adhere to your work schedule.
- Demonstrate kindness and empathy towards residents, respecting their privacy and dignity.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming home environment through housekeeping, shopping, and cooking.
- Safely transport residents to activities and medical appointments.
- Document notes and complete paperwork using a computer.
- Administer medication as instructed, with training provided during paid hours.
- Participate in staff meetings.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Ensure confidentiality of all client information.
- Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of six months with a clean driving record.
- Demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
- Pass a background screening.
- Be physically capable of performing job duties and ensuring resident safety.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18.00/hour with an additional $2.00 for Medication Administration Program (MAP) certification.
