Qualifications and Profile of an ABC Caregiver
- Completion of an in-person interview process.
- State CNA License or State Home Health Aide Certification OR Passing Test Score of Agency HHA Assessment.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Florida State Level 2 background check required.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Authorization to work in the USA.
- Minimum 1-2 years of one-on-one care experience.
- Dependability and commitment to assigned schedules.
- Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude.
- Proficiency in English - both verbal and written communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities according to care plans.
- Provide care in accordance with Florida Statute guidelines for Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing Assistants.
- Accurately document client-related activities in compliance with agency policies.
- Notify the supervisor of any changes in the client's health status.
