Job Summary

Veracity is seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional care and education to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and nutrition
  • Calculate and monitor patients' nutritional intakes and adjust care plans as needed
  • Prepare and implement special diets as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a closely related field approved by the American Dietetic Association (ADA)
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietician from the ADA
  • Current license by State of Nevada as Dietician
  • Specialty certification (CDE, CNSD, CSP, CDR) may be required for a specialty position
  • Computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of nutrition and dietetics principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
