Job Summary:

The Orchards at Northwest is seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team. You will also act as a coach and role model for our nursing assistants, providing direction, best practices, and leading problem-solving on daily care concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
• Coordinate and manage nursing care, including developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and monitoring resident progress.
• Act as a coach and role model for nursing assistants, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure excellent care delivery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for residents and their families.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including resident charts and care plans.

Requirements:

• Current state license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).
• Current CPR certification and additional certification in nursing specialty desired.
• Preferably has experience in a long-term care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
