The Tele-Emergency Care Nurse Manager (NM) is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing personnel and managing the operations of the Tele-EC program. This position is integral to ensuring high-quality care delivery for Veterans.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide clinical expertise and accountability for all aspects of the nursing process while supervising direct patient care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care delivery, ensuring it meets age-specific needs.
- Coordinate care with a focus on patient education, self-management, and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance care outcomes and lead innovative improvement initiatives.
- Manage 24/7 operations of the program, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a full and unrestricted nursing license and demonstrate leadership capabilities in a clinical setting. Experience in emergency care nursing and supervisory roles is highly preferred.
Work Environment:This position allows for 100% telework, providing flexibility while maintaining accountability for nursing operations.
