About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Geologist to join our team at Moody and Associates, Inc. as a Project Manager. This is a full-time position that will be based in either our Meadville or Erie, PA offices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee projects throughout western PA, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including proposal preparation, work scope development, scheduling, budget tracking, and invoicing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute project work, including field staff, laboratories, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Prepare project deliverables, including reports, permit applications, and work plans.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and oversee staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Perform other duties as required to achieve project and company goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, or a related field.
  • Pennsylvania Professional Geologist License required.
  • 6-10 years of demonstrated experience in the field of hydrogeologic and/or environmental consulting.
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to efficiently and accurately perform QA/QC.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours when needed and follow company and client mandated safety rules/practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Work Schedule and Physical Demands

Average 40-45 hours per week, with weekly schedules varying based on business demands. The physical demands of this position include working outdoors in adverse environmental conditions, including rugged terrain, remote locations, hot and cold temperatures, and inclement weather.
