We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Saint Joseph's Villa & Court. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide and assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.
- Assist with basic therapeutic care and vital sign measurements, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Report any changes in resident condition promptly to the healthcare team, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
- Follow established safety and infection control protocols to prevent the spread of illness and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Prioritize assignments and complete documentation accurately, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families, providing clear and concise information and updates.
- Participate in teaching residents necessary skills, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Attend in-services and staff meetings, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assure delivery of optimum resident care, meeting individual needs and preferences.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, supporting the overall mission and goals of Saint Joseph's Villa & Court.
**Qualifications:**
Current Nebraska Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and service.
