Custodial Worker

Job Title: Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner. As a member of our custodial staff, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and healthy environment for our clients in the Olive Branch, MS area.

Estimated Salary: $32,000 - $42,000 per year

Responsibilities:

1. Sweep, mop, and wash floors and other surfaces using light and heavy floor buffers and shampoo machines.
2. Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas, spot clean daily and shampoo when directed.
3. Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and all other horizontal surfaces including periodic high dusting.
4. Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors, partition, and specified windows, wash glass and trim at entrance doors, interior/exterior.
5. Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report to supervisors.
6. Collect building trash daily, replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specs, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• No previous experience is required, but ability to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function cooperatively as part of a team is necessary.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment, including portable vacuum cleaner - backpack style.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
