Job Summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is seeking a skilled Private Pay Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate billing and cash receipt processes for private pay residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Medical Assistance regulations, generally accepted accounting principles, and other relevant regulations.
  • Effective communication and documentation of issues, gathering of information, and development of action plans.
  • Utilization of business systems/software and controls for resident service revenue activities.
  • Preparation, review, and sending of billing to private pay residents.
  • Resource to staff and residents for billing-related inquiries and communication with other departments.
  • Preparation and deposit of checks, verification of cash deposits, and posting of payments.
  • Review of aged receivables list, update of overdue account spreadsheet, and processing of necessary adjustments, refunds, and write-offs.
  • Collection calls, letters, and follow-up on past due accounts according to Masonic Village policy.
  • Communication with Fraternal Care Coordinator and Medical Assistance Coordinator regarding residents with exhausted resources.
  • Monitoring of estate openings and filing of claims against estates, as needed.
  • Ancillary entry and recurring charge entry for services received by residents.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Accounting or minimum of two years' accounting experience.
  • Computer experience required, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel or other spreadsheet software.
  • Two years' experience in receivables and collections.
  • PCC experience preferred.
  • PROMISe experience preferred.
