Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Intern plays a vital role in supporting the Pharmacist with medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management. This position is essential for delivering patient-centered pharmacy services. The intern will also assist in training pharmacy technicians and will be a key resource in specialized areas, contributing to the enhancement of workflow efficiency. The Pharmacist will verify all medications and preparations prior to dispensing. Responsibilities are carried out in alignment with our mission, values, and service standards.

Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Licensure: Pharmacy Intern or Technician License as required by state regulations.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Certification/Registration: Not required.
  • Skills: Proficient in computer usage.
