Data Security and Management Professional

KBR seeks an experienced Operations Support/Data Manager to support Hemisphere Task Order delivering services to SSC/SZ. As a key member of the team, you will work in a high-paced environment with Space Force personnel, support contractors, and system developers.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with Hemisphere Security and Configuration Management teams to ensure compliance with program, personnel, and process requirements.
• Develop and implement security plans, review applicable guidelines, and establish procedures to ensure seamless operations.
• Prepare and submit personnel security packages for Special Access Programs (SAPs) to facilitate smooth access to classified information.
• Support facility and network security actions, inspections, and daily activities to maintain a secure environment.
• Implement corrective measures to address security concerns raised by the Government or team members to prevent potential risks.
• Update and collaborate with Hemisphere leadership on Security action items and activities to ensure effective communication.
• Develop a numbering/identification scheme for classified deliverables to maintain accurate tracking and management.
• Prepare weekly program briefings and present at program staff meetings for all security matters to keep stakeholders informed.
• Support data management and sharing in platforms (Confluence, Sharepoint, Jira) to facilitate efficient collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
• Track and manage the Government's written acceptance, comments, and/or change requests against classified deliverables to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in a related science or engineering field (information technology, information security, security management, cybersecurity) and 10 years of experience is required.
• CompTIA+ certification in Security, Data, or DataSys is preferred.
• Active TS SCI clearance is mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience supporting Sensitive Compartment Information and/or Special Access Acquisition Programs within the DoD is essential.
• Expertise in Defense Information Security Services (DISS) and JADE database or the legacy Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) is required.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio is required for document preparation and presentation.
• High knowledge in navigating within shared cloud environments (Google Docs, Sheets, Sharepoint) is preferred for efficient collaboration and data management.
Benefits
KBR offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation.
