Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Solutions Architect to join our team at Info Way Solutions.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Oracle and SQL Server relational databases, with at least three years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing database solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement database solutions using Oracle and SQL Server relational databases.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and scheduled jobs.
  • Implement process automation using Python, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
  • Work with Agile development teams using the Scrum framework.
  • Implement CI/CD delivery pipelines.
  • Implement container and container orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Three years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server T-SQL programming.
  • Three years of experience with Oracle and SQL server relational databases, On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Decision Support System (DSS).
  • Two years of experience with development and maintenance of UNIX shell scripts.
  • Two years of experience with process automation using Python version 2/3 or PowerShell 7 or greater.
  • Two years of experience with version control management tools (GIT).
  • Two years of experience in Agile development specifically in using the Scrum framework.
  • Two years of experience in CI/CD delivery pipeline.
  • One year of experience in container and container orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
  • Two years of experience in Service Incident Reporting using multiple concurrent systems.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Experience

At least three years of experience in database development and implementation.

Skills

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
