About the Job

As a Delivery Driver with US Foods, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive their products on time and in good condition. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a tractor-trailer to deliver products to customers
  • Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry
  • Ability to read and communicate in the English language
