Registered Nurse Role Overview

Position Summary:

We seek a hands-on Intravenous RN responsible for delivering IV Therapy services to our clients. This individual should have the necessary skills to perform their duties with minimal supervision.

Compensation Structure: Base pay plus commission

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nursing License (RN) in Virginia
  • At least two years of nursing experience in an acute care environment (ER, ICU, Med-Surg, or similar)
  • A minimum of one year of experience with injections is preferred
  • Proficient in using electronic medical records for documenting client information

Additional Qualifications:

  • Ability to thrive in a team setting while also excelling independently
  • Commitment to adhering to all policies and procedures, understanding the significance of medical compliance
  • Capability to connect with clients and provide the appropriate IV treatment based on their age, condition, and goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues, supervisors, and clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver services while educating clients on the benefits and safety of treatments
  • Experience in taking vital signs, auscultating lung sounds, and utilizing intravenous catheters with aseptic technique
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a high standard of service throughout the center
  • Exhibit exceptional time management skills, sound judgment, and the ability to multitask
  • Possess well-developed interpersonal skills for effective communication with peers, managers, and clients
  • Proficient in computer skills, including point-of-sale systems, internet usage, Microsoft Office, and scheduling systems
