Job Title: Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Cynet Health. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mammography exams using digital mammography equipment
  • Position patients for optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure
  • Review and release radiographic images for clinical acceptability
  • Verify patient identity and order accuracy before procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort and privacy
  • Follow pre-procedure verification and Time-Out process, if applicable
  • Organize schedule and priorities to meet designated time frames
  • Practice Read Back and Confirm (RBAC) when taking verbal orders
  • Explain exam procedures to patients to minimize anxiety and facilitate cooperation
  • Participate in training and orientation of new employees
  • Produce high-quality images with a first-time acceptance rate of 95%
  • Complete studies in the Radiology Information System (RIS) correctly and efficiently
  • Familiar with Mammography Tracking System and ensures compliance with regulatory standards
  • Perform routine department maintenance tasks and maintain an orderly work environment
  • Transport and position patients for procedures safely and efficiently
  • Prepare and maintain patient follow-up data
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist and minimum 1 year experience in Mammography (preferred)
  • ARRT Radiography and ARRT Mammography certifications
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Excellent communication skills for interactions with physicians, patients, visitors, departmental staff, and nursing staff
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment
