Job SummaryWe are seeking a qualified School Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing health services to students and staff, as well as collaborating with teachers and administrators to promote student health and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide health services to students and staff, including administering medications, treating minor injuries, and responding to health emergencies
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement health education programs
- Conduct health screenings and assessments to identify students with special health needs
- Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with special health needs
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student health issues
- Participate in staff development and training to stay current on best practices in school nursing
- Valid current California Registered Nursing license
- Current California Credential: General: Health and Development: School Nurse, Standard: Health Services: School Nurse, or Ryan: Health Services: School Nurse
- Three current letters of recommendation/reference
