Job Description
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others? As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with Fusion Medical Staffing, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care while enjoying the flexibility of travel nursing assignments. Our clients in Austin, TX are seeking a qualified RN to join their team for 13 weeks. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients during labor and delivery, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* One to three years experience as a Registered Nurse preferred
* Other certifications may be required for this position
* Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills
* Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills
* Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
* Communicates and collaborates with physicians and other health team members
* Provides and coordinates patient care with other health team members
* Monitors patients' responses to interventions and reports outcomes
* Administers medications as ordered with appropriate documentation
* Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies
* Transports patients as needed
