Enterprise Architect Lead

Job Overview:
Bright Horizons is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of cloud-native software solutions. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and efficient systems that meet the evolving needs of our business.
About the Role:
This role involves designing and modernizing legacy systems to leverage cloud-native technologies, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes, and serverless computing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-native architectures using GCP services like Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Storage
- Lead the development of scalable and secure systems, focusing on front-end and mobile development using Angular, Swift, Kotlin, and React Native
- Collaborate with management, product owners, and project managers to evaluate requirements and prioritize development for mobile and web projects
- Develop and use relevant industry standards and domain information models to satisfy functional and non-functional requirements
- Maintain compliance with mandated standards and guidelines
- Evaluate and test emerging technologies and tools to enhance existing systems
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required
- 6+ years of experience required, with expertise in cloud architecture and DevOps practices
- Proficiency in Angular, Ionic framework, MongoDB, and RESTful API design
- Experience with database scaling and performance tuning, as well as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including product owners and project managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
