Job Title: Houseperson

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Houseperson to join our team at Residence Inn Florence. As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting Guests: Greet guests and respond to their requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain a healthy and safe environment in common areas, including lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, offices, bathrooms, meeting spaces, and restaurant spaces.
• Assisting Room Attendants: Assist room attendants as needed, stripping rooms, bringing supplies, and taking out garbage.
• Deep Cleaning: Deep clean carpets, dust and polish furniture, and empty trash containers.
• Reporting Issues: Report any technical issues and maintenance needs to the management team.
• Restocking Supplies: Restock cleaning carts and supplies as needed.
• Following Health and Safety Rules: Follow all health and safety rules and regulations.
• Attending Meetings: Attend meetings as required and participate in team discussions.
• Providing Excellent Customer Service: Interact with guests to ensure their total satisfaction and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Prior Cleaning Experience: Prior cleaning experience is required.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer Service Experience: Customer service experience, preferably in a hotel or related field, is required.
• Ability to Work Independently: The ability to work independently without close supervision is required.
• Schedule Flexibility: Must have schedule flexibility for both AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to Lift and Push Heavy Objects: Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amounts of weight (minimum of 20 lbs) is required.
• Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
