Medical Oncology Telemetry Nurse

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology Telemetry team at Banner North Colorado Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care, taking into account the patient's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Colorado.
- 2+ years of experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
