Aeromedical Flight Paramedic

Patient Assessment and Coordination

As a Flight Paramedic at Tampa General Hospital, you will be responsible for assessing patients and coordinating their care based on their age and developmental level. You will utilize departmental medical protocols and standards established by the medical director, which are based on State and Federal Laws of Paramedic Practice.

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will have five years of experience as a Paramedic and hold certifications such as AHA ACLS, PALS, and BLS. NRP certification is preferred or must be completed within six months of hire. Additionally, advanced certification such as FP-C or CCP-C is preferred or must be completed within two years of hire, in accordance with Aeromed CAMTS accreditation standards.

Required Certifications

Our team requires certifications such as Water egress course completion within one year of hire and Department of Transportation air crew course curriculum content completion as part of the Aeromed initial orientation process.
