Hamilton Memorial Hospital District is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.

Our hospital is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and improving the health of our community. We utilize the latest technology, including the EPIC electronic medical record system, to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a wide range of laboratory tests and procedures, including Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Toxicology, Blood Bank, Specimen Collection, and Clerical section.
  • Work in various departments as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Contribute to quality control initiatives, documenting corrective actions and maintaining inventory records under the supervision of a section chief or laboratory director.
  • Participate in laboratory quality control programs and ensure compliance with OSHA and CLIA standards.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technologist, Medical Technologist, or Medical Lab Scientist program.
  • Ability to work any shift, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
