Job Summary

The Branch Manager is responsible for leading and directing a branch, overseeing daily operations to ensure positive revenue generation, high customer service standards, employee development, and continued excellence in productivity. This position requires compliance with the company's drug and alcohol policy and adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grow revenue for the branch and district by achieving financial goals and objectives based upon business plan
  • Effectively grow a diverse portfolio of customers and answer/resolve customer questions
  • Manage a diverse team effectively and efficiently lead and develop them
  • Implementing Safety trainings and maintain a branch safety plan
  • Manage a fleet inventory mix to maximize revenue and profit
  • Manage Profit and Loss reporting & Operational reviews
  • Generate, process, analyze and review the daily business reports
  • Establishes, with executive staff, sales and profitability goals for the branch. Develops and implements operating plans and budgets to meet goals. Regularly monitors performance against goals and takes corrective action where necessary.
  • Ensures product pricing meets profitability targets by reviewing / updating costs and pricing decisions.
  • Manages branch inventory to ensure security, accuracy, ability to meet customer product requirements and branch turn goals. Ensures cycle counting program is implemented per established procedures.
  • Oversees storage and delivery operations, including receiving, labeling put-away, and order fulfillment. Creates and monitors delivery schedules to ensure accurate, on-time product delivery.
  • Ensures the security and proper maintenance of all branch property, equipment, and other assets by developing security systems and procedures, and implementing a regular schedule of equipment maintenance.
  • Controls branch operational costs, including labor, supplies, freight, utilities, etc. to ensure overall branch profitability.
  • Ensure the branch is maintaining federal compliance with OSHA regulations and DOT standards
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum six (6) years of experience and track record of success in operations management preferably in trench shoring or construction
  • Must have a valid driver's license
