We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at The St. Regis Chicago. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards in public areas or guest rooms.
  • Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested.
  • Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash.
  • Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery.
  • Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
