{"Job Title": "RN-Head Nurse", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN-Head Nurse to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing patient care, staff management, and day-to-day operations of our ICU Stepdown unit.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing employees on an assigned unit
* Collaborate with nursing leadership and other disciplines to identify opportunities for department improvements
* Intervene and provide guidance and direction during life-threatening situations
* Implement innovative work processes that improve patient outcomes
* Participate in clinical leadership activities such as coaching, counseling, mentoring, hiring, firing, yearly performance evaluations, staffing, payroll, and productivity
* Participate in activities designed to improve healthcare delivery
* Communicate and collaborate with others in providing patient care
* Support lifelong learning

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of 2 years experience on current unit or in like setting/specialty area
* Licensure, Registration, Certification: RN; BLS AHACertification: ACLS
* Special Skills: Computer literacy
