Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist specializing in Rehabilitation Psychology Therapy to join our dedicated team at CommonSpirit Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing psychological services to individuals undergoing rehabilitation due to physical injuries, illnesses, or disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and interventions tailored to meet the emotional, cognitive, and behavioral needs of patients.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in coping with the emotional challenges associated with rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer support and guidance to families and caregivers to enhance the rehabilitation process and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in a Rehabilitation Setting required.
- Exposure to rehabilitation setting and knowledge of rehabilitation diagnoses required.
- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an accredited institution required.
- Current licensure in the state of California required.
- Must maintain current AHA BLS required.
- Fire Safety cards required.
- Upon completion of orientation and upon annual performance appraisal must demonstrate competency in evaluation and treatment of patients served.
