Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified individual to teach Freshman English Composition I (ENGL 1101) classes on campus, in-person, face-to-face. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and meet the minimum qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Teach ENGL 1101 classes to Freshman students
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Meet with students during office hours
Requirements
  • 18 graduate-level credit hours from an accredited institution in the discipline of ENG or ENGL course work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Preferred qualifications include a Master or Doctor degree in English or Composition, experience teaching in a traditional classroom setting, and documented ability to foster relationships with students
