Job Summary

HR Partners is seeking a highly skilled Plumbing Instructor to join our team. As a Plumbing Instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and training to students in plumbing courses, as well as other courses as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials to ensure students meet learning objectives.
  • Deliver engaging and effective instruction to students, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and technologies.
  • Assess student learning and progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student academic performance.
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in plumbing, incorporating this knowledge into instruction and training.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
  • Minimum Associate's Degree in Plumbing or related field.
  • Journeyman status from a recognized apprenticeship program or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years' minimum work experience in plumbing (5 years preferred).
  • Plumbing license preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
  • Teaching or training experience in plumbing preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, staff, and faculty.
  • Display a student-centered approach and consistently demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Software (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
