Pet Groomer

The Pet Groomer is a vital role within our Resort, reporting directly to the General Manager. A successful candidate will be a team player, self-motivated, and have excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.

• Provide exceptional care and attention to pets during grooming sessions, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Work closely with Resort Hosts to schedule grooming appointments, including setting up new clients in our online software and discussing vaccination protocols.
• Meet and greet clients to discuss grooming instructions, provide report cards, and suggest additional services.
• Ensure client satisfaction by resolving any customer service issues within your capabilities.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment by following our Resort's standards of cleaning and disinfecting your workspace.
• Monitor guests' health during grooming or bathing, reporting any concerns to the General Manager and pet parents.
• Follow all safety protocols when handling pets, particularly aggressive guests and escape artists.

• Professional grooming certifications preferred but not required.
• Two to four years of professional grooming experience.
• Strong knowledge of individual breed standards and breed cuts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple pets and tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
