Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Social Worker to join our team at Ascension St. Agnes in Baltimore, MD. As a key member of our Ambulatory Care department, you will be responsible for providing specialized clinical services to patients with mental, emotional, behavioral, and developmental disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and interpret tests and measures of psychosocial functioning to diagnose mental health conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide crisis-oriented and long-term psychotherapy services.
  • Document patient therapy in accordance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Social Worker from the Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners.
  • High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree/Technical degree, or 4 years of applicable job-specific experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and understanding of social determinants of health.
