Nursing Supervisor Role Overview
At The GEO Group, we are committed to providing high-quality healthcare services to inmates and detainees. We are currently seeking a Nursing Supervisor to join our team.

The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive exceptional care. Key responsibilities include maintaining relationships with correctional staff, nurses, and contract providers, as well as performing audits of medical records and narcotic counts.

This role requires strong people management skills, vigilance, and natural empathy. As a Nursing Supervisor, you will play a vital part in our patient's re-entry to society. Our employees feel proud to contribute to this mission.

Job Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an approved program; graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Two (2) years of direct work experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience and competence in performance of crisis intervention, medical emergencies, physical assessment, medical nursing care, and psychiatric nursing care preferred.
