HVAC Technician - Retrofit and New Construction

A leading Missoula HVAC company with a 47-year history of excellence is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their dynamic team. This role requires a mechanical background, strong troubleshooting skills, and excellent customer service abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrofit HVAC equipment, ensuring projects adhere to company design standards
  • Responsible for ensuring job readiness, including communication with installers, material and equipment deliveries
  • Ensure quality controls and assist in the builder upgrade program
  • Maintain professional relationships with builders and work well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors
  • Complete all necessary paperwork, job packets, change orders, and timecards
  • Willing to invest time in training seminars and classes, including NATE certifications
  • Comply with all safety rules, demonstrating basic safety knowledge of tools, testing devices, and surroundings
Why This Role:
  • Competitive starting wage: $18 - $22 / hour DOE
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Can transition to 4-10's)
  • Paid overtime, as needed
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Holiday and vacation pay
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Ability to work in tight/open/high/low spaces and on a ladder
  • Need to be able to manipulate objects with fingers
  • Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop, and comfortably lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to work in variable weather conditions
