Job Title: Police Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Police Officer. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, protecting life and property, and providing excellent customer service to the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect crime, and to enforce laws and regulations.
  • Respond to emergency calls, such as accidents, crimes, and medical emergencies.
  • Investigate crimes, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
  • Make arrests, issue citations, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Provide first aid and emergency medical services as needed.
  • Participate in community policing initiatives and build relationships with the community.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 60 credits of post-secondary education preferred.
  • Wisconsin Law Enforcement Standards Board Certification required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
